I have just returned from a week in Mallorca [Easyjet – Flight only.] I was disappointed in the limited results of my attempts to get information on possible accommodation on this and other boards. Some guidebooks are also very disappointing in that they fail to indicate the times of year at which some establishments are closed! Eventually I obtained bookings in Palma and Sóller which I found entirely satisfactory, given that I was looking for reasonable prices rather than luxury. Hi davidx! I'm so happy you found the accommodation you were hoping to get - eventually. It's true, there's very very little information about lodging on the islands on the interenet but i'm sure that will eventually change.
