have made reservations at the Palacio San Martin for October 21-23 and the 25th -- has anyone stayed there or know of it??

Where is that located? Is it in San Martín?? I've never heard of it. Is it a hotel or maybe a parador??

Plume -- Thanks for your response -- I had tried a search on here and did not come up with your messages but went this time to your member number and found your great review of this hotel -- thanks again and for anyone else out there -- we got a good price of 103 Euros for 2 of us per night during the week -- not budget prices but when you split that with 2 people it is very reasonable for a nice, comfortable, clean place to lay your head at night -- (or in the morning if you follow Spanish custom).

I also will be staying there 11/7-11/11

It's located in Madrid near Sol between the Cortes Ingles and Opera.
