JamesC, I understand some of the rooms at
Hostal Persal have air conditioner units in the windows. Did yours or did you have central air?
I took a tour of the place in October 2000 and it looked VERY nice, almost like a hotel at the reception area, lobby, and restaurants. But the rooms looked more of less like other hostel rooms I've seen in Madrid.
Did you eat any meals at their restaurant? If so, how was it? Thanks for the feedback and any more information you could give would be great for future travelers. Thank you!
Saludos, MadridMan
