Does anyone know the difference between TEFL, CELTA, and DELTA. I believe these are all certifications to teach English in Spain. Which on is better? Anyone know which school is the best to enroll in to become certified to teach English?

Thank you!

TEFL means teaching English as a foreign language and is a general term. The CELTA and DELTA are both certificates you can take in order to be an EFL teacher. The CELTA is certificate in English language teaching to adults and the DELTA is the diploma. There are various CELTA courses but the most widely recognised are Trinity and UCLES/RSA. The intensive Trinity is 5 weeks and RSA 4 weeks. Other courses may be cheaper but most employers prefer one of these. You can only do the diploma after you have been teaching for at least 2 years.
