I have a degree in accountancy myself, although I work more like B.A.. The accountancy market is very busy here, many spanish accountants have to work in other positons.
The only serious oportunity you may have to work here as an accountant may be if you have special abilities, like international (maybe north american, useful for the second accountancy demanded by NYSE- by the way,I don't know what ACCA stands for), like working for a british or american firm, or like emphasizing in your English for a specific position in a multinational group. But if your level of spanish is nil or low, that can be a big handicap. Also, you should know the incoming new EU regulations (NICs).
Try, but I believe you have few chances.
I cannot suggest an accountancy head hunter, because the head hunter market is not very developed in Spain and so, its firms are not well known (even to me). However, I can offer you a place to start the search, or maybe a place for a job alike:
Michael Page Spain selects a number of professionals and executives in the finance market, and have some positions like "controller" which are half way between finance and acountancy.
Good luck!
