How safe is it to walk from the Batan Metro station through part of the Casa del Campo to get to the Zoo-Aquarium in Madrid? Thanks.

At least from sunset on, it is a prostitutes' area. I wouldn't go there walking. At Batan station, there is a bus stop where you can catch line 33. It takes you safe to the Zoo in a few minutes.

We walked from the station to the zoo and back last year, Be aware that even during the daytime there are some prostitutes about and punters cruising around in cars.
