Just returned from a wonderful trip to Madrid, Toledo, Seville and Malaga and not once did my family encounter any pickpockets or obseve vany muggings. In fact, in Malaga I left my pocketbook behind after too much sangria and when I went to retrieve it the next morning it was returned to me completely intact! I am a middle aged woman, who traveled with her husband and 2 teenagers and I'm sure we looked like tourists!

Very glad to read you did not encounter any problems, it certainly helps to allay any fears one might have. Well done to the person or persons who found your pocketbook, it really is nice to know there are honest people in the world.
