Is it safe to rent a room on c/Libertad?

The apartment is very nice, but the neighbourhood? Please write your opinion if you know the place.

Hi Ilanit!! Good to see you here again. Question: Should we assume you're asking about the Gran Vía in Madrid??

If so, I think Antonio would probably know very well since he lives along the Gran Vía, but...you know... I haven't seen Antonio here for awhile. Maybe it's time for exams again.

Libertad street is near to my house but I wouldn't recommend it. Although I don't think it's unsafe, it's a very narrow street "hiddend" among many others. I'd suggest main streets.

Note also that most buildings in the city centre are quite old and so they are the apartments!.
