I am going to Spain this summer (first time) on a study abroad program. I was hoping somebody could tell me what kinds of things are typical Spanish dress?? Are jeans ok? , or should I plan on being more formal?? Help -- I am CLUELESS;) Any advice would be great- Thanks:)

You will fit right in with jeans on. Bring (or buy there) some nice leather shoes too.

Leche is accurate, as clothing is fairly western, but a Spaniard can spot a "foreigner" or "norteamericano/a" by looking south of the ankle. Buy some "sensible shoes" when you get in and unless you have an accent, they may never know you've infiltrated society from abroad!!!
