Another surprise I discovered during my last trip was El Ñeru, on C/Bordadores, 5
El Ñeru.
I have been to the bar upstairs many times and enjoyed the sidra and cabrales, but we ended up in the dining room downstairs and we were very surprised. Very nice dining room, an Asturian menu and the food was excellent. I had the Sopa de Pescado with clams, fish and shrimp in a saffron and anis flavored broth. It was very modestly listed on the menu but the best thing we had. Croquetas de cabrales were good. We also had a codillo (Ham Hock) that was almost as big as a volleyball! The bread was great and you got the crema de cabrales to put on it. We had wine and sidra and the bill was just over €100 for 4 people. I would recommend highly!
