I'm coming to madrid this week and I've been looking everywhere for a place to go dinner/dancing, a romantic sort of thing. does anyone know of any place?

Dinner and dancing at the same place? Maybe La Negra Tomasa at the corner of Calle Espoz and Calle Cadiz. That is a very good Cuban restaurant with some room for salsa dancing if the band is right. If you want to be a good spaniard then you usually try to split it up between several places. There are plenty of romantic restaurants but few that I can think of with dancing in the same venue.

At the Viajero you can have dinner at the first floor and then hit the second where music is played, although people don´t dance much there. Ducados Cafe is another choice but I don´t see people having dinner there anymore.
