Good luck to España tonight at the Bernabeu! (Although I do hope you guys lose!)

Hopefully all this back-biting between the English and Spanish tabloid press about Arangonés calms down and we get a great spectacle of a match between two fantastic teams + Beckham wink

Apparently Reyes wants Rio and Neville to be nicer to him tonight than a few weeks ago at Old Trafford. Not likely! smile

Here's also to hoping the match passes smoothly and without any nasty incidents with fans.

Dom.

Darn! I forgot all about that and had intended to set the video machine to record it. It was my understanding that it started at around 9:30 pm local time. Oh well. Guess I'll read about it in the papers or watch highlights on TV. Go Spain! I watched part of last night's match and Spain beat England 1-0 in Alcalá de Henares (I think it was there).

Saludos, MadridMan

Kick off is at 21.45 Madrid time MM, won't you be back in time for that? The match last night doesn't count as it was just the under 21's. wink

You mean Aragones the rascist? (Here we go again rolleyes )

I'll have to wear my England shirt and wear my Spanish scarf, because although I'm English I've actually been to more internationals to cheer on Spain to beat the opposition! ..... No, I can't do that...no scarf.... in this case it's got to be Land of Hope and Glory! C'mon on England!! :p

Yes, aragonés did a very racist comentary, that was only bypassed by the spanish press because this mediocre depressive trainer is just loved by the media.

Under twenty-one. These are not the higher level players, because in these games only those under that age can play. Some are stars, some are will-be stars, others have not matured yet. They are kind of a second league, although their play is more vivid and enthusiastic.

MM, you need to be able to connect to your VCR via IP wink

U21s is the Under 21s. It is actually a little misleading as it is permitted to play a certain number of over 21 year olds but it basically translates to the "Youth team". There are U18s and U16s as well.

MM. Under 21s are under 21 year olds who have not yet broken into the first team.

Even though I was born in Finland, when it comes to football it's 'Three Lions on the Shirt' time.

Ice hockey... that's a different matter. SUOMI!!!
