My buddies make it with limon, red wine, vermouth, triple sec, brandy, sugar and a touch of Scotch whisky.

They fill a garbage can with it every weekend night. They start with a shrink wrapped 6 pack of 2 liter bottles of limon and then move on to a 15 liter bag in a box of wine. It is quite a sight!

O.k. guys sounds crazy but work with me. I know it defeats the purpose of what sangria is but does anybody have a recipe for non-alcholic sangria?
Sacrilege! Heresy! laugh Sangría, by definition, must have spanish red wine wink

I've never seen a non-alcoholic sangria, but perhaps if you add "mosto" (a kind of grapes' juice) instead of red wine it would have a "similar" taste.

Before committing this horrible crime, I would try to reduce the amount of red wine and add instead more juices (orange juice, lemon juice). That would taste much more like a sangría, but will have much less alcohol too.

This is an easy one to put together.

2 spoons sugar
1 bottle red wine
1 can orange fanta
1 can lemon fanta
1 can la casera
1 cup gin
1 cup cognac
Fruit and ice to taste

For the fruit, lemons are essential, then I favour bananas, peaches and strawberries because they all absorb the alcohol nicely. Grapes and kiwis are good too.
