it is a good possibility that i will be in Madrid for a week (on holidays from university!--reading week!) i've found hostels to stay at and places to visit, but are there any interesing traditional events occurring that month? --never been to Spain or know all that much about it!---

Carnaval will be from 20 to 25 of february, although Madrid is a place where is difficult to find a real carnival environment, but I think there is a parade and some parties.
