I've heard of a bar in the Barrio Santa Cruz in Seville but never been able to find it, it's called La Carbonara or something similar.I think the translation is coal cellar, any help appreciated.

I've been there. It is called La Carboneria on Calle Levies number 18. Phone is 954 21 44 60. It is very difficult to find and no sign out front, just a little red door. Best to take a taxi. Or you could walk from the Catedral down Calle Mateos Gago and turn left onto Calle Fabiola and start asking people for directions as you will be very close at that point. Things don't get started until around 11:30 p.m. Usually flamenco on Friday and Saturday nights.

That's my favorite bar in Sevilla! Especially on a hot summer night out on the patio.
If you can find it........you should definitely go!

the smell of jasmine blossoms in the patio and the live music is fantastic. the drinks are super cheap and the ambience is de primera!

Speaking of tinto de verano! My husband Pepe and I managed to make a great batch of it here stateside this weekend. We used a box of Franzia house chillable red wine with about 3/4 of a 2 liter bottle of Squirt citrus soda. It came out great! Very refreshing and was a hit at all the July 4th BBQs this past weekend!
