Would it be worth looking for cheap yet comfy and good quality bars/restaurant around these areas? We are trying to save as much money as we can, would you have any good tips anyone? We would still like to try flamenco bars for evening/night and typical Spanish food and do not insist on the cheapest out of the cheapest.

and for music these two are great because they are free and excellent. they are alot better than many places where they actually charge. they have wonderful ambiente.

Try Las Teresas in Barrio Santa Cruz. Excellent tapas and good value for money.
