Going to Madrid in the Spring and want to spend a day at Warner Bros. Park with the family - We are staying in central Madrid. Can anyone tell me how far Warner Bros is from the City? Directions too please if anyone knows.

Are you asking about directions by car? If so, you can plug in FROM - TO locations into Google Maps @ http://www.Google.com/maps for the map, distance, and step-by-step directions. Enjoy! Saludos, MadridMan

Thanks, I've never used the google maps for directions before - its great! I've emailed myself the instructions, should take about 35 mins according to google.
Has anyone been there? If so, are there any gentle or simulation type rides there - unlike hubby and daughter, I don't like the rough rides and don't know if I should go with them, or stay in Madrid sightseeing that day.

You can take the cercanías train from Atocha. It lets you off right in the park, but I believe you have to change trains in Pinto. It takes 35-40 minutes: http://horarios.renfe.es/cer/... There's also a bus from Legazpi.

We will probably drive as hubby & daughter have season tickets for Terra Mitica and that gives you free entry & parking at Warner Bros. That's why I'm not sure whether I should go or not, as I will have to buy my ticket and if its the same as T.M. I will just be standing and watching most of the time.
I loved the more sedate rides at Orlando's Universal Studios though, hence my question.

I've been there a couple of times and it does have a few more sedate rides such as rapids and log flumes, haunted houses etc. What it also does quite well is recreate some of warner bros films using actors so you can stand around and watch some shows. Lethal weapon, batman and police acadamy for example. Their web site is quite informative, both with regards to rides and directions, and is available in English or Spanish :- http://www.parquewarner.com/
