Hello Madrid lovers
We are planning to visit Spain from September 21st till October 5th this year(two sisters who live far apart and meet just once a year for a holiday).
We are both keen swimmers and we like to swim after a hard days tourism. The hotels we have looked at with pools are out of our price range and the rooftop pool at Hotel Emperador closes on 15th September.
I have seen a wonderful long list of municipal pools but I don't know if they are open 21st-25th September.
Does anyone know? or can you suggest a sports club that allows visitors?

I am afraid that the outdoor municipal pools season ends on Sun Sep 3rd. There are several indoor municipal pools too that open all year round. The two closest to downtown I can remember now are La Latina (just besides the metro station) and Palos de la Frontera (very close to the metro station, 10 minutes walking Southbound from Reina Sofia museum)
