Hola,

I will be staying in the Rivas-Urbanizaciones area. I would like to know if anyone has been in the neighborhood. This is my second time going to Madrid and I've done the tourist thing already, so this time I want to mingle with the natives. Does anyone knows about a "local" flamenco place that is not for the tourist? Also, any other suggestions would be more than appreciated. Thanks!

Ciao,
Chabal

Hmmm... "Rivas-Urbanizaciones"? Is that one of the new mega-developments outside of the city? If so, I doubt you'd find any flamenco dancing there of any kind, touristic or "local". In Madrid, you'll mainly (or only) flamenco for tourists areas in Old Madrid.

Good luck! Saludos, MadridMan
