My first Spain trip is next month. Our itinerary is shaping up, and it looks like our planned time in Nerja includes the feast day of Romeria de San Isidro. Can anyone provide information on what to expect in Nerja this day?

You should better go to La Manga. Meet you there.

You are going to a lovely place. San Isidro is something else. Almost the whole town go in a procession from Nerja to the Caves at Maro. It is a marvellous day. I'm not going to tell you too much, better for you to see for yourself. Take a look at the website below as this lists San Isidro and other festivals in Nerja. Have a wonderful time!!!
