My friend from Ireland is going to visit Spain for semana santa this year (unfortunately thanks to school, I cant join her frown ). She is thinking of flying into Madrid, visiting Barcelona, and then making her way south. My question is this:
-Whats going on related to Semana Santa in Madrid and Barcelona? Are touristy things gonna be closed? What about El Escorial, Toledo, Segovia?
-If she manages to find a hostel in southern Spain....how about Cadiz? is it warm enough to be on the beach? I dont know that she could find a hostel in towns like Sevilla and Granada at this point.
Any advice i can pass on to her would be great.
Thanks!
Kelly smile
