I have been reading up on ibiza and some of my friends are going there on the 10th throught the 12th of march. I get the impression that no one is going to be there in Ibiza. Is this true and would it be worth it to go even if it is not crowded.

Ibiza is a beautiful island, but basically the tourist resorts there close in winter. March is still the winter. The island starts to open up to tourists from Easter on, early May being the real start to what is a very short season, lasting until end September/mid October. Having said this, the main towns will be fine, that is, Santa Eulalia or Ibiza Town.
