I am going to be studying en La Universidad de Granada next semester, and am leaving January 14th. I know that I cant know it all before I get there, and will have to wait to figure some things out, but I was hoping maybe someone (Granadagirl?) could help me out before hand...
-Any ideas on where I could find a good map of the city, that includes the university area, and surrounding neighborhoods as well as city center??
-I am living with a host family on Calle Santa Clotilde, ideas on how to find a map with, info on this area specifically?
-Also, does anyone have any info or experience using the bus system in Granada, costs, routes, etc?
-Any other general advice would be great!!
Thanks so much for ANY ideas:)
Kelly

For online maps, you can try the following....

http://uk.maps.yahoo.com

http://mapblast.com

Both sites enable you to zoom in and out after entering the Granada street address.

There's also http://www.granadamap.com - it's zoomable by city region.

Kelly- I too studied at the Universidad de Granada and you will love it. Unfortunately, I just found your posting and could not be of more help prior to departure. You will find that Granada is a pretty easy city to get around. Just be careful in venturing to the Albaizin. It's tough to navigate. Please free free to contact me if you need any help or have questions. I'm interested to know with what university you are aboard with? Does CUNI sound familiar?

Buena Suerte!
Debbie
