Does anyone know if there are any tanning beds in Madrid?

Yes, I know it is sunny here but nevertheless there are some thousands of them. But be careful there is no regulation yet as far as how often the tubes must be changed.

Thanks for your reply. How are the tanning salons in Madrid? Are they popular? You said there are thousands of them but what type of establishments are they? Do they look appealing enough to make you want to use them? Or are they just average.

Angela this is not different from anywhere else
the more expensive the saloon is, the better their rays are. A good saloon is about 20 eur half and hour and a bad one about 6. Personally I am lucky since I found one very much in the North of Madrid, isolated from the world (less people using it----> fresh tubes---> no skin cancer.

30 minutes in a tanning bed? I don't know much about them but there is such a place besides my building and they have ultrafast cabins where people only stay for a few minutes (6 or 7 minutes). If you stay longer it's very dangerous.

Make sure how long you can stay before having a long... siesta there.

I've never met a Spaniard who used tanning beds.. Or maybe I have but didn't know it.
