BCN is a load of crap. I liked Parc Güell and Sagrada Familia, but after that, it was utterly forgettable...lo siento, but I'm with you Asterault.

P.S. I talked to GaliciaGuy, CastillaChap, MurciaMaster and BasqueBoy and they agree.

My vote goes to Madrid. I am not that impressed with Barcelona. If you do go to Barcelona, dont miss Parque Guell, and Las Ramblas, as far I can see, thats about all Barcelona has going for it in comparison to Madrid rolleyes

"Barcelona ain't like France. Barcelona is a load of crap and is full of whiners!"
What an intellectual post!
I love Barcelona because it combines the BEST of old Spain and new Spain. It is clean and you can still get a beer at Mickey D's.

(Hey, Aster, I'm sure their are many flights you can take if you want to go back to Madrid)adios!

Play nice people.

I can see an argument if somebody dissed Madrid and argued Albania was better.

Its still all about Spain.

kelar: You have just won the prize for the Best Post Ever on MadridMan. You can pick up your prize at the drive thru of the Barcelona McDonald's. Those are my sentiments exactly! Kudos to you. Anyone who drinks McBeer might possibly be a candidate to have their McCoco McExamined! :p

Barcelona has:great food, great wine AND cava, great nightlife, flamenco, and a beautiful beach where you can see many beautiful catalana espanolas without tops and, that alone, beats Madrid and its Mickey D's any day!!
