Me again, I was just wondering what the take on the islands are. Are they too touristy? Was thinking about Mallorca, any suggestions? A friend of mine also told me not to miss San Sebastian. Any suggestions?

Mallorca is touristy, but it is also very beautiful, particularly (IMHO) along the west (the mountainous side). The capital, Palma, has a great "old town". From there you can take a train through the mountains to Soller, which gives acces to numerous beautiful villages. I wouldn't miss it.
