I've been living in a small town on the coast for 2 months now (10 min from Barcelona) and I know lots of great, relatively cheap places to stay. Especially in the towns on the beach - they get overshadowed by Barcelona, but its a quick train/bus ride into town and a lot cheaper. Castelldefels, Gava, and Sitges to name a few. Hi steff, can you help me with Cardona? I posted before on it but didn't get any replies. We managed to get a reservation at the Parador, but I'm wondering, is the experience of staying at this Parador worth leaving a day earlier from Barcelona? I can't find anything about this city in my guide book (fodors) and that has me slightly worried. Please help
