I am returning to Spain after seven years of wanting to return, which is of course as soon as I left!
I would like to take a day trip to Siguenza while in Madrid but I am not renting a car. Is there a good way to get there and back? I was on Renfe's site but there didn't seem to be a good train to take... Bus? (Or a different day trip suggestion would be fine too!)

There are tons of trains- it takes about 1 1/2 - 2 hours one way; prices range between 8-15 euros.

I have been in Siguenza last May, It was a nice town, first you go to their plaza and nice view and the cathedral! Walk towards the little road heading towards the parador, inside you could see some spectacle view of the town, routing into another area where you could have your lunch. down to the cuartel and headed up for the park and some of the convents...nice area!!
