we're planning to fly from sevilla to barcelona. (in early september) is there any cheap way of doing this? the prices quoted on the spanair website were ridiculously high. any thoughts, ideas? I appreciate it!

You can take Vueling. Their website is vueling.com. It's a relatively new budget airline. There's a couple of threads on it here if you're interested in previous feedback. I am flying them from Barcelona to Paris next month.

Check Iberia, too. A few summers ago I got insanely cheap (28 euros) tickets with them on flights from Granada to Barcelona.

I checked the vueling website and indeed, the prices are terrific! 30-45 euros one way to sevilla. it's our first trip to spain and we're very excited.
