I just saw bad news on Frommers.com about Spanair. They no longer will be flying from Wash.D.C.They will only fly their European routes due to the drop in overseas travel. Ticket holders will be accomodated & not lose any $$$.

That is bad news. One of the things I liked about SpanAir was that they would often fly you to any other city they served in Spain at no extra cost. I flew them IAD-Santiago de Compostela two years ago. Free stopover in Madrid, of course. I didn't particularly care for the MD-80's they use within Spain but the B777's on their IAD-MAD route were super! So was their service.
