I took it on my way to Lisboa for Expo'98. I just checked the schedule and it appears to be about the same this year as it was then: It made a 1-hour meal stop less than an hour after Sevilla then it just made 3-stops (one at the Portuguese border). The latter was just for money exchange. There's no Customs or Immigration any more; and after the first of 2002 no money exchange (both will use Euro).
When on the autovia heading for Lisbon, it was really 'smokin.' I estimated speed at about 150km/hr. The final enroute stop was Setubal, then we came across the 25 April bridge for a magnificent view of Lisboa and Belém.
Portuguese time is an hour back from ET.
