I opted for no insurance. Check with your own insurance and also the credit card you'll be using. You're probably already covered.Also...don't forget to use AAA if you have it to get discount on rental.

Janie: CDW is collision damage waiver & it protects you in case of collision for damage to yours as well as the other car.It runs about 10-13 USD usually but I opted not to have it as my travel insurance covered me for 25,000 USD. I felt that was sufficient and went with it. Some personal car insurance insures cars driven by the policyholder.
