Not sure what the train journey is like, Willy, (you could try www.renfe.es ) but at the moment there is a detour on the main Sevilla-Ronda road, due to the state of the road after storms over winter.

When we travelled recently, there is a diversion which takes you round by a big reservoir and the village of Zahara and puts about fifteen minutes on the journey, using a narrow road. Having said that, it is an extremely pretty diversion at this time of the year with wild flowers evrywhere and well worth the trouble.
