I still have not purchased my tickets, hoping that the price will escalate downwards. The dates I want in December seem to be big bucks or they have not placed them on sale yet.

But I have noticed that there have been bargains this year, but it seems that the bargains are about 30-60 days before the month you want. So maybe by October the December fares will be reasonable. I hope!

My parents just purchased two tickets for 526 a piece on iberia.com. Iberia.com is the place where they will probably be the cheapest. They just opened up the Sept-Oct. sale. My ticket for Oct. is 480. 500$ for xmas flights is pretty good so they MAY not discount them. BEWARE!!!The xmas Iberia flights are already filling up. WHen i booked my parents' itinerary a lot of seats were taken!!!!
