I have an Egyptian friend who is willing to come to Spain to study the inheritance that the Arabs left in Spain.

Is there any information that we can provide to him? I mean, like if there is any University who does PhDs on this, if there is any organization in Spain making research on that. Maybe even some sort of itinerary he can do as a tourist to get in touch with that part of our history before deciding.

I think what Carmen is refering to is the Arabic influences that were left in Iberia as a result of the centuries that the "Moros" spent in Iberia. Etymologically speaking Carmen's use of the word "inheritance" refers to this.
I am sure there are many papers that have been written on this topic.
Personally I would write on the Roman legacy in Ibera. (I'm a sucker for roman vestiges).
