I am trying to email my host family in Spain. Should I actually translate the word "email" to correo electronico, or just use "email"?? What about words like "internet"? T laugh hanks!

Hi!

Both e-mail and correo electrónico are accepted as normal. Thus, if you want to make reference to the e-mail adress, you may call it "dirección e-mail" or "dirección de correo electrónico".

Internet is never translated, it is used as is.

Oh, some people say "la red" for internet. They also use the lovely "emilio" for email, as in, Te mando un emilio para decirte a que hora salimos etc.
