ok I go often to Madrid, and once lived there but I want it to bring my father over,who never been...part of being an immigrant all your life.
Now from France he had his residency permit and the Ryanair folks wre asking for passport or EU residency card, I was worry if he could go from France to Spain with his US passport alone, well finally got around Madridman, and the Spanish consulate in Paris.
Yes he can even thus living in France, use his US passport to travel to Spain and back to France using his permanent residency card !!!!
I do not need all that as I am French too, but heck better be sure nowdays with all the security issues going on
