There, I'd like to bring up a subject that has been touched on in other dicussions, but not fully answered.

If I want to go out clubbing in Madrid, what should I wear, or avoid wearing?

I'm thinking especially of attitudes towards

- trainers/skate shoes
- jeans
- t-shirts, shirts without collars

What percentage of places would stop us from coming in wearing these things- just the very fancy places or pretty much everywhere?

training/Skate shoes are wrong for almost of the places.
Jeans and t-shirts are usually OK.

With the exception of some of the more "pijo" clubs like Fortuny, jeans and t-shirts are perfectly fine. I wouldn't wear trainers, but there will be some clubs that don't care if you do.

Thanks very much for the advice guys, I'll make sure to warn the others to leave the Vans at home!
