Hola my friends,, just returned from Madrid and another great discovery !! My very good amigos took me to LA TRUCHA at Nunez De Arce #6 Great food and wonderful service..The smoked platter is about the best I have ever had !! If you have not been there,, it's a great place for sit down tapas and a good wine list .. A not to miss place .

That is one of my favorites, too! And they do have some of the best smoked salmon I have ever had. Their signature dish, trout with crispy garlic is to die for!!!

I have only been there a couple of times and what I had didn´t impress me. Having said this I must add that la Trucha is located in a nice pedestrian street and that it is one of the big names as far as tapas are concerned. They are recommended by all food guides.
