We're going to Madrid and don't have many pesetas. Can anybody recommend any really cheap, good restaurants/bars??
Also how much is your average beer/wine in Madrid?
Is there a tendency to inflate the prices of food and drink like a lot of other big European cities?

i always suggest not missing the meson de champinon!! this is located in the arco de cuchilleros along the plaza mayor, very good and very resonably priced!!! They serve sauteed mushrooms and sangria!
