I have done a search on the board, but came up with nothing (to my surprise!). This summer I fell in love with Gazpacho, especially in Sevilla, and now I want to make my own!!! Any tips on where to find a good recipe or a posting of a recipe would be much appreciated! Thanks!

¡Marchando una de gazpacho! (for 6 persons)
1 green pepper (pimiento verde) half an onion 1,25 Kg of tomatoes (they have to be very red) 1 cucumber (pepino) 1 small red pepper a piece of bread or (better) french bread salt red paprika (just a bit) 1 piece of garlic water 2 spoons of vinegar 1 cup of olive oil
You take it all (previously you should put the bread in water for softing it), and you shake it with a beater (electric mixer) until it is very well mixed. Add water or any other ingredients until you like it.
Then put it into the refrigerator and left it until you want to eat it.
You can eat it with small pieces of bread, onion, tomato and pepper.
Mmmmmm, marvelous. It is one of my favourite recipes.
Also try ajoblanco (cool soup made of garlic and almonds) and salmorejo (a kind of gazpacho).
Enjoy!

So Chef Fernando, please share those other 2 recipes. The garlic & almond sounds great. 2 of my favorite flavours.

Chef Fernando here AJOBLANCO 200 grams of almonds (pealed) 100 grams of french bread 2 slices of garlic 1 and a half litres of cold water 2 decilitres of olive oil 2 spoons of vinegar salt Put the bread inside a recipient with part of the water. You then put the bread (when it is soft) with the garlic and the almonds in an electric mixer (beater). Add the vinegar and a bit of salt and shake it until you have a white soup. Add the oil slowly and shake. Then add the water and shake it until you have a thin soup. Serve with pieces of melon, almond and/or grapes. This recipe is typical from Málaga and Almería. SALMOREJO 1 piece of bread (1 Kg) 1,5 kilograms of tomatos (very red) 1 egg yolk (boiled) 2 slices of garlic salt 1/2 a litre of olive oil 1/4 a litre of water 1 piece of green pepper 2 harricots 1 onion As with the gazpacho and the ajoblanco, you must mix it very well until you have a thin soup. It is delicious when served with jamón ibérico and boiled sliced egg. This is typical of Córdoba and Jaen. Any other recipes? :P

Superb! One of my favourite recipes, and the picture of Delia Smith looks pretty good Since last year a company has begun to comertialize packed Ajoblanco. It is not as good as home-made, but it is still great! (and you don't have to make it ). You guess what? I have a pack in my freezer by now... Fernando

Are you referring to Alvalle's ajo blanco?, I am a great fan of their gazpacho, a bit expensive but (in my opinion) good.I think the time is coming for MM to open a topic on cooking and recipies.
Fernando, ajoblanco in this weather!!!.

Yes! Alvalle is a company which does great juices and great "soups" (gazpacho, ajoblanco and salmorejo). It is expensive, but the quality is the best. Their gazpachos are sold at McDonalds', obviusly at a better price. And yes, ajoblanco with this weather :p I couldn't resist it! This "soups" are their best in summer, but even now it is great to have an ajoblanco Fernando
