Does anyone know of a place I can find regulation size billiard/pool tables in Madrid? I am tired of playing on those little kiddie ones they shove into bars. I heard of a place that is on Gran Via, but I am not sure where to look for it since Gran Via is such a long street.

Hi Panthercw!

Those tables you mention (kiddies class) are also known as Viana Class or P Class in Spain and are based on the original French "billiard", also known as "Carambola".
If you want the regular competition size try in the "Casino de Madrid" but it's probably full of professional players and I don't think they are "economical".

You can also try in a Billiard club:

1. C/ Capitán Haya, 49

2. Centro Comercial Canguro C/ Real cruce con C/ Honorio Lozano

Both clubs are in Madrid.

Good luck smile !

Mesonero Romanos, 13 (esq. Gran Via, 34)
