I decided to add San Sebastian to my trip. Have any of you been there before? If so, I would appreciate any suggestions for things to do or places to stay. Thanks in advance.

I was there 25 years ago. Its one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen. Enjoy the beach and explore the castle ruins around the hilltops.
We only spent a quick day there, but it is one I will not forget.

The last time I was in San Sebastian was in August of 1987. It has incredible beauty and wonderful friendly people with great cafe's everywhere. If you are going during the summer be sure to have a reservation. I could not get a room anywhere since half of Madrid is here during the summer and spent 3 nights in a cold water pensione. Enjoy the basque cuisine, the arcaeology museum is top notch and best of all enjoy the beach
