A few years ago we caught the 8:30 AM AVE from Madrid - arrived Santa Justa at 10 AM: We got the Exterior Loop bus right in front of the station and got off at el Portal de la Macarena. The Procession had started at midnight Thursday and began arriving back at the Basilica around 11:30 AM. It was Awesome!
