Hola: My partner and I are in Madrid for just one day (don't shoot us) on our way to biking in southern Spain. What would you recommend that we do? We arrive on Friday morning (in mid-October) and depart the following morning. Maybe visit one museum (I'm a big Picasso fan)...a nice authentic spanish restaurant for dinner and a quaint hole in the wall gay bar in the evening where we can meet and chat with the locals? Anyone interested in joining us? Thanks.

If you like Picasso, and can only go to one museum, go to the Museo de Arte Reina Sofia,Plaza Santa Isabel,52 - 28012 MADRID Tlfs: (+34) 91 -774 10 00 it is across the street from the Prado. the Reina sofia has Picasso's Guernica
and some of his other works. It is a museum of modern art.
