Does anyone know the cheapest way to travel to Barcelona from London? I have checked out a few flights, but would like to view the country sides from a train. Thanks

Flying will be cheaper than taking the train. The cheapest overland option is to take the bus (nb. most of the journey is through France). Coaches go from London Victoria to Barcelona. The journey takes around 24 hours, and costs about £70 one way (there's a good chance you could find an EasyJet flight for not much more).

Check out the Eurail ( www.eurail.com ), but it's cheaper to see the countryside from above.

Maybe you can get a deal with the TGV though or something. Let us know.

Easyjet are probably the best option in terms of time, but I have noticed that this journey is not always cheap. From Barcalona you can go by train to anywhere in the country at a reasonable price, you can log onto the Renfe web site for details of routes and prices.
