I'm trying to find information about what to export on board the RENFE trains. Their website has no English translations of their descriptions of each kind of service. I've seen a fair bit about AVE and Talgo 200, but I'm looking at taking a Talgo (no 200) from Madrid to Linares/Baeza.

What should I expect on board? Real food? Simple reheated foods? Just drinks and pastries?

Thanks,
-- Ethan

It is a cafeteria service. You can expect hot and cold drinks, pastries, sandwiches, and snacks.
