Hi everyone. I was wondering how much luggage you can usually take on any renfe train in Spain. I might be travelling for the week before I start my study abroad program in Granada, and will have 3 bags with me. I will have a friend to carry one, so we will have 4 altogether. My friend is going home when I start the program, but I have to take enough of my things for 5 months and have to travel with it. I was just wondering if 4 bags would be a problem- large ones, I'd have to check all of them on the plane. If you have luggage that fits on a plane, will it fit on a train?

4 bags shouldn't be a problem on any train, unless one of them contains your grand piano.

In most of Renfe's long distance trains, there are racks for big pieces of luggage at the entrance of every coach, apart of the overhead racks all over the seats for hand luggage.
