Hi again, Joe Medano! From you comment about "Estacion Sur de Autobuses" I think I'll assume your starting point is from Madrid.

After using the SEARCH link above/right I found a thread that you'll find especially useful. It's called " The best way to go from Madrid to Málaga ".

In Madrid, the best place to get info about Spain trains would be at Atocha train station, but there's also an office on calle de Alcalá, 44.

I don't think there's any one good place to get info on buses since different bus companies leave from different stations. If you're going south, then yes, I would think the Estación del Sur would be best to gather info/schedules.
