I was wondering if anyone has had any luck purchasing bus tickets through the http://www.alsa.es/ Alsa website?
I went through the entire process and then they said they could not process the purchase because the bank denied it. I called my bank and they said that Alsa had not even put the purchase through. So, just wondering if it is because it is an American credit card?

That'd be my guess, that it was because you have an American credit card. I know I have purchased Alsa tickets online and printed out tickets - while living in Spain and using a Spanish credit card.

its Spain all bus site, alsa included, eventually they try to have deals with all, sort like the renfe of buses in Spain.

Ok, MM, that is what I will do. I will send you a message with all the details. I did try movelia but the same thing happened. I think it has to be the American credit card.

Amer credit cards sometimes cause problems but if you alert your bank of what you are trying to do I think it should work. Many others have done it;dont know why you cannot.

I mean Visa and MC, AMEX is more problems.
